Seán Kelly MEP (Ireland South) has welcomed a reiteration from the European Commission today on the importance of an updated list of key strategic energy projects in an EU Energy Strategy that includes Co Kerry project, Shannon LNG.

MEP for Ireland South and leader of Fine Gael in the European Parliament, Seán Kelly, has today launched the CoderDojo Ambassador Initiative, a new informal grouping of MEPs that aims to promote computer coding skills to young people around Europe, in cooperation with the Cork-based initiative, CoderDojo.

MEP for Ireland South and Member of the European Parliament’s delegation for the COP21 Paris Climate Change Conference, Seán Kelly, has welcomed the opening of the highly anticipated conference today (Monday) and called on World Leaders to recognise the opportunity that lies in putting in place the agreement that ensures the future of our planet.

The Thomas Fitzgerald Heritage centre, Bruff, Co Limerick was the location of a special memorial tribute to the late US President John F. Kennedy on Sunday last where keynote speaker Seán Kelly MEP paid tribute to “one of the most popular and iconic political figures of the past century – JFK”.
