Young Entrepreneurs across Munster – Invited to Attend EU Young Innovators Forum at UCC, 21 June, 2013.
Sean Kelly, Ireland South MEP, will host a major Young Enterprise forum aimed at supporting Youth Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Business Start Ups in Cork, on June 21st, in the UCC Brookfield complex.
The event will also feature the European Commission’s Top Tech All Stars Winner, Pat Phelan, Co-Founder of Trustev, who last Thursday, (13th June.) won the award for Best Start Up company in Europe, at the prestigious Founders Forum in London.
The Sean Kelly MEP – EU Innovators Forum in Cork, will be joined by Co-Founder of the European Young Innovators Forum, Larry Moffett, who will offer mentoring support and showcase the best in European Entrepreneur creative enterprises. The forums goal is to stimulate a culture of innovation among’st young people, and demonstrate EU and state supports for Irish Innovators to start building their own creative businesses and boost employment at home.
Sean Kelly, MEP of the Year 2013 for Research and Innovation, said that; “Ireland’s entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well, as proven by the success of Pat Phelan and Trustev team last night at the EU Founders Forum. We have proven yet again that the Irish can be leaders across Europe and on the world stage, with our creative zeal, leadership skills and business acumen, and i would like to congratulate Pat Phelan and his winning team in Trustev, Cork.
Also attending the forum and sharing their experiences in developing new new businesses, will be Frank Walsh Director of Enterprise Equity Venture Capital who provide Seed Capital for Start Ups, Louise Riordan of Young Social Innovators and Eamon Curtin Director of UCC IGNITE Programme.
Sean Kelly MEP would like to invite “Would be Entrepreneurs” interested in taking the leap and launching their own business or developing an innovative product or service, to come along to UCC, 21 June and Meet the Mentors in finance, Social Media and UCC IGNITE leaders.
