My priorities for this term are:

  • Agriculture: ensuring Irish farmers are supported and that CAP is as effective an aide as possible to food production, providing a secure, high quality, affordable food supply to Europe
  • Increased support for grassroots sport
  • Continuing to participate in the reform of the European Data Protection Law, protecting citizens and empowering business
  • New funding and real supports for Research and Innovation in industry
  • International trade relation and international trade agreemensts, focusing in particular on TTIP, CETA, Singapore FTA, and others.
  • Healthcare:  Innovation in healthcare systems
  • SME Support: Imporving access to markets and supporting entrepreneurship
  • Energy: Promoting sustainability and the increased use of renewables
  • Rural development and Regional development
