The Thomas Fitzgerald Heritage centre, Bruff, Co Limerick was the location of a special memorial tribute to the late US President John F. Kennedy on Sunday last where keynote speaker Seán Kelly MEP paid tribute to “one of the most popular and iconic political figures of the past century – JFK”.

Seán Kelly MEP (Ireland South) has confirmed that the Kerry-based Shannon LNG project and its connecting pipeline will now be considered a key part of the EU’s energy strategy. The decision places Shannon LNG on an updated list of key European Projects of Common Interest to integrate Europe’s energy markets and diversify sources.
