The debacle of Brexit has shown us that Ireland’s place is in the EU and that we need to renew our engagement with our friends on mainland Europe. As students of today will be the leaders of tomorrow, the EU Erasmus student exchange programme is the perfect vehicle for this.

Ireland South MEP, Seán Kelly is calling on the Department of Agriculture to withdraw sanctions on CAP payments to Kerry farmers over burning of land. The Department of Agriculture has frozen the payment of Basic Payment Scheme entitlements to several Kerry farmers whose lands were impacted by the Killarney National Park wildfire earlier this year.
