Sean Kelly MEP’s nominees for the prestigious EU Citizen’s Prize, the teachers of the Blue Star Programme, have been successful. The Blue Star Programme teachers will be officially awarded the 2015 EU Citizen’s Prize in February.

MEP for Limerick and Ireland South, Sean Kelly, has welcomed today’s European Parliament majority vote in favour of a new EU fund for up to 300 unemployed people in Rathkeale, Co. Limerick, including former jewellery workers and unemployed young people.

MEPs will today (Thursday) vote in favour of a joint resolution on the Peace Process in Northern Ireland in a gesture of support and solidarity, according to Sean Kelly MEP and Leader of the Fine Gael delegation in the European Parliament.
